My mother herself was an artist, and had many decorative items in our home that mirrored European design. The house was saturated with plants and flowers, giving me the "language" of dreamy, detailed ornaments that are in my paintings. My influences include Alphonse Mucha, who embodies Beauty and design aesthetic and skyrocketed the Art Nouveau Art Movement. I am influenced by art and beauty and to replicate this in society with ornaments we use, sit on, look at, wear, eat on, use.
